Free Distance Reiki Transmission, Tea Social & Reiki Circle

  • Location: Private Venue (near Laguna Lake, San Luis Obispo, CA) – Address will be given with RSVP
  • Time & Dates: 7:00pm-8:30pm Last Wednesday of Every Month

We gather to build a big beautiful reiki crystal grid to send concentrated distance reiki out near and far and to charge each other up with reiki love. All lineages and practitioner levels are welcome. The main purpose of this gathering is for practitioners to unite to send communal distance reiki to wherever it is needed most, and to practice giving and receiving reiki in an atmosphere of friendship, support and love. Bring your sacred stone allies and any photos/reiki requests (better yet, use and share this link to submit distance reiki requests in advance!) to place in the center of the grid.

– You are encouraged to liberally share this free distance reiki request link with friends, family, co-workers, frenemies and the like as well as submit your own reiki requests in advance (to be printed by the host) to: http://artemisiashine.com/reiki-is-love

– We will share yummy organic herbal tea, introduce ourselves, and co-create a reiki crystal grid to send out distance reiki together

– Afterward, everyone will enjoy time on the reiki table for a mini-reiki treatment with all hands sending you reiki love at once… ooooh, magical community reiki-care!

– 💞 Donations are enthusiastically accepted to offset the cost of printing photos/reiki requests as well as tea & supplies – keep the energy exchange flowing! 💞

Participating in a communal distance reiki transmission is a powerful and sweet way to gather in service and love for the greater good. Joining in a reiki share is a beautiful way to honor each other as healers and meet like minded reiki love-bunnies for connection and friendship. <3

What a great way to spend the last Wednesday night of the month! Come join us!

      • profound relaxation
      • calms mental activity
      • relieves pain & tension
      • relieves muscle spasms
      • increases blood flow
      • facilitates sense of inner peace & groundedness
      • imparts stability & sense of connection to earth energy

Nourish yourself with a strong 90 minute candlelit hatha yoga practice. Reward your efforts with an extra-long savasana (final resting pose) with sound healing, aromatherapy and hot stones placed on specific areas of the body to promote profound relaxation and opening of the energetic pathways within.

IMG_0049The final 1/2 hour of the class is a restorative hot stone therapy treatment that goes beyond the physical and allows you to enter a deeper sense of tranquility, detoxification and release of stress. Each rock is carefully heated and placed on key points of your body. The energy and weight of the stones penetrate your skin and ground you to the deep rhythm of earth energy creating an overall feeling of health and well-being. During savasana, live sound healers invoke sacred sound energy to enhance the richness of your inner journey while you receive lavender infused crown massage. Lavender eye pillows, a plethora of blankets and intoxicating essential oils make for an even more delicious savasana. Each class offers a different sound healing modality to attune to and transform consciousness.

Roughly 90% of the stones used are basalt or black jade that Artemisia personally hand collected from various sacred wild beaches and rivers in Humboldt County and around California. Each stone was selected with the specific intention of supporting the healing process and heart opening of her students. They carry the wisdom, incredible beauty and energetic essence of the magical places where they were found. Other stones that are not basalt or jade were chosen for their sheer density and the healing benefits of their weight to facilitate grounding when placed for an extended time on the belly, sternum and ovaries. Each stone was received with mindfulness and gratitude for the healing work they were chosen to perform. Sanskrit/English Poses

Sanskrit/English Poses

“The vibrational purity and resonating power of Sanskrit is above all an opera on a grand cosmic scale that you can sing with your whole heart and being.”  ~Vyass Houston

All of life resonates at a specific vibration.  Sanskrit is considered to be one of the oldest languages on earth, comprised of sacred sounds of rhythm, melody and harmony. The Sanskrit names for the physical asanas, or yoga poses, were crafted to reflect the essential nature of that which they describe. The seed sounds, or bijas, that make up each Sanskrit title for a particular yoga pose, carry a unique and intentional frequency. Perfect pronunciation of these bijas resonate with the essential vibration of the universe itself. To call an asana aloud in Sanskrit while aligning yourself in that particular posture is a tangible way to deeply explore the energy of that pose while unifying sound and physical sensation.

I invite us all to welcome more Sanskrit into our lives!  🙂

I offer below a work in progress – I am compiling a list of yoga poses with their corresponding English names.
♥ I will update this as time allows. ♥
